The Reasons Why Humanity Should Spend Money On Space Exploration

The internet would not exist without space exploration. (Outside the world). It would be a different earth. Satellites orbiting earth now support human daily lives. (Outside the world). Essential needs are essential for human survival. A large proportion of the world’s population is dependent on certain resources. Humanity as a whole should invest money, effort, and time in furthering and expanding space exploration. Space exploration was a great idea that the human race started long ago. It should be continued. Space is a benefit to humanity and makes life easier. The earth will cease to be capable of supporting living beings, and humans will be free to travel to another planet. NASA invests heavily in (healthcare) technology.

Space exploration is a great advantage for humans. It makes our lives easier. The JPL (jet propulsion laboratory) created small cameras that could fit in a cell phone in 1990. (Nelson, Jon). Camera phones wouldn’t have been possible without space travel. What would life be like without the Nike airs and Adidas Ultraboost? NASA’s suit construction technology created the Nike Air trainers. Jon Nelson. Satellites orbiting Earth broadcast television programs. (Outside this world). Satellites offer a huge advantage to humans and make life easier. Space exploration has made it possible for people to purify water in areas like Africa. NASA invented an electrolytical silver IOD that purifies water in the 1960s. Humans need water to survive. It is more important than giving them free education and health care. Humans have found many things in space that make life easier, including the ability to travel to other planets and create new homes. Earth is likely to end soon and it may be necessary for humans to find a new place. Researchers are currently investigating whether Mars could sustain human life. National Geographic reports that water frozen on Mars has been found. Martian life was possible four billion years ago. (Wall, Mike). If humanity digs into Mars’ surface deeper, Mars could still sustain life. It could even be a new home for humankind. It is difficult and expensive, but humanity can start now to move. When the earth is demolished, people will need a place to call their own.

NASA is also investing in (healthcare) technology. NASA boasts over 1,750 spinoff stories. They show how technologies created for NASA missions are brought back to Earth in order to improve our daily lives. (NASA). NASA spent almost half its 2012 budget on technology research, manufacturing and development. (The Tauri Group). NASA spent a lot to develop technology. Without NASA, we would never have reached this level of tech. Without NASA, it would have taken years or even decades to reach this point. Red light emitting diodes (LEDs), which are capable of growing plants in orbit, can also heal human beings on earth. (NASA spinoffs). Infrared Ear and artificial limbs are just a few of the other NASA technologies that have helped humans. (NASA spinoffs). Humans have much more options for medical problems. There are less diseases that could kill you, and there is no effective treatment. Space travel is also good for the human health because they can develop new technologies that will benefit humans on Earth.

NASA’s money could also be used to support education and health care for many children. NASA’s annual budget of $19.3 billion could allow 1.94 million Americans to attend 4-year public universities or provide health care for 1.87 million. (FEE). NASA may be able to use the money to finance other projects, such as education and health care. It’s a difficult task to move to another world. Also, the cost of moving to another planet is prohibitive. Even though this is true, NASA wouldn’t be in a position to conduct the same level of research if they didn’t currently have the funds. And it won’t be possible when the earth ends. It’s not worth the cost to give humans 1 year of care and 4-years education. What happens if the earth disappears within four years? What if the earth dies in 4 years? Wouldn’t this be a waste if we spend our money on education and healthcare? Asteroid impacts can cause space debris to be invisible, so humans will not know the extent of what is happening until they happen. It’s not easy to move planets. But it’s much better than waiting to see what happens.

Space travel is essential to human existence and sustainability. Space travel may be impossible without it. Human life is not what it used to be. What will humanity do if earth ends? Space travel and research are key to human survival. The future of humanity will be much easier if space exploration is done properly.
